February 16-17, 2003 - Ibrahim and I went to spend President's Day in Vegas. I had an exam on Tuesday, but somehow he convinced me to not give a shit. It took him about 12 seconds to do so. We ate nothing but In-N-Out and spent hours at the poker tables. Good times.
September 14, 2003 - This was a horrible game... we lost 37-13. We never had the lead... didn't even get close. So we just drank a lot and ate lots of salsa.
October 26, 2003 - This was pretty scary at the time. A lot of people panicked... but I viewed the situation as a photo oppurtinity. Luckily we didn't have to evacuate. We did, however, spend Sunday night through Monday night in Phoenix... waiting for things to cool down.
October 27, 2003 - San Diego was in flames, and so were the Chargers. Fans counted down the days to Seau's return, but he only made it as far west as Tempe. The Monday Night game was moved there because of the fires, so naturally, we hopped in the car and started driving. Even with Fran behind the wheel, we drove a hell of a lot better than the Chargers did. Brees had a horrible night. He was picked 3 times and sacked 3 more. More than half his completions were to LT, who had the only TD (rushing) of the game for San Diego. At least the trip was fun.
August 15, 2004 - Mima, Ameen and I headed down to Rosarito to relax. Our day consisted of a seafood buffet, margaritas on the beach (well, a couple Cokes for Ameen) and a nice long wait to legally get back into California.
February 6, 2005 - Our second Super Bowl party in a row. I had promised not to get drunk and give a speach again, so instead I got drunk and started a food fight.
November 18 - December 6, 2006 - I took a much needed vacation to go watch the Chargers beat the Bills in Buffalo. I also spent some time in San Diego, Niagra and Toronto. I would happily visit any of those cities again... except for Buffalo. Fuck Buffalo. I don't even like wings.
January 6 - February 3, 2008 - Work sends me to Singapore for a 2-week training session. Take a couple weeks off after that, and you've got yourself a 4-week Asian vacation.
